Charming stay in a historic setting
convenient tram helpful staff comfortable beds
The hotel is located very close to a tram stop, I found it convenient. The staff was helpful and considerate. Beds were comfortable. I slept well each night.
The pillows in my room were not great. I found them lumpy and uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping without them for better rest.

the reception staff was helpful and efficient i appreciated that
the pillows were not comfortable at all they were too firm and high i ended up with a stiff neck each morning the shower was also quite small it made it difficult to move around without bumping into the walls i think new pillows and a larger shower would improve the experience.

this hotel is a unique gem. the rooms are fine and the beds are comfortable. the hotel itself is beautiful, with artwork throughout. the breakfast selections were excellent!!!
The pillows were not the best. They had some bumps.

Really good Stay
quick access stylish bar wide selection quiet oasis
The tram stop is just a short walk from the hotel, about 100 meters. This provided quick access to Alexanderplatz transit station. The location, in the Prenzlauer district, provided several cafes and dining options. I found the art nouveau decor very interesting, and I loved the cocktail bar (open from 6 p.m.). The breakfast offered a very wide selection of food. The staff packed a takeaway breakfast for my early flight, including various sandwiches with cheeses and lunch meats. Fruits were also included (that was so thoughtful!). The hotel rooms are spacious and quiet. The staff was uniformly helpful, professional, and kind . Internet access was easy to set up (though I noted it seemed a bit insecure at times). The garden offered a quiet oasis for relaxation. The hotel is close to many restaurants, cafes and bars. I found great arts and crafts in the neighborhood. The breakfast was excellent, and cappuccino could be brought to the room. (I enjoyed starting my day this way!). The area felt residential, yet connections to the U-bahn and S-bahn were simple to navigate.
The pillows felt lumpy, so I had to sleep without them.
